Chris Dempewolf

I'm Chris Dempewolf (dim-pee-wolf). I've worked in software for 11 years. I specialize in data ingestion, cloud architecture, and designing resilient distributed systems.

I run Dempewolf LLC doing AWS contracting work. I've helped clients stand-up serverless pipelines, debug their RDS instances, fine-tune EC2, and migrate to S3/CloudFront.

I've also worked extensively with Kafka and converted one company's 48 hour batch job (run weekly) to a real-time, event-driven analytics pipeline using Kafka Streams.

Outside of work, I like to juggle, read, run, write, and play video games. I speak English, Spanish, and Japanese (though my ability with the latter is rapidly fading).
